What Is TOOP1 Swing MT5?

TOOP1 Swing MT5 is a fully automated Expert Advisor (EA) built for the MetaTrader 5 platform. It trades only Gold (XAUUSD) on the M5 timeframe and follows a short-term swing trend-following approach. The EA opens one trade at a time, places a fixed Take Profit (TP) and Stop Loss (SL) immediately, and avoids Martingale, Grid, or any position averaging.

Quick Facts

• Platform: MetaTrader 5
• Instrument: Gold (XAUUSD)
• Timeframe: M5
• Strategy Type: Short-term swing trend following
• Risk Style: Fixed TP/SL, no Grid or Martingale

Who Should Consider This Expert Advisor?

• Traders who specialise in Gold scalping or swing trading.
• People looking for an EA with simple, fixed-risk parameters.
• Prop-firm applicants who need tight drawdown control.
• Users who want zero manual intervention once the EA is running.

If you prefer multi-pair EAs, deep hedging, or high-frequency systems, TOOP1 Swing MT5 may not meet your needs.

Key Features at a Glance

1. One Trade Only

• Avoids over-exposure in fast Gold moves.
• Keeps margin use low.

2. Hard Stop Loss & Take Profit

• SL and TP are sent with the opening order.
• Reduces the risk of a server disconnection causing a free-floating position.

3. Slippage Resilience

• Designed with low-latency execution calls.
• Minor slippage should not alter overall performance.

4. Dynamic Price-Based Trailing

• After entry, the EA trails the SL step-by-step as price moves in favour.
• This can lock in profit without the need for manual action.

5. Prop-Firm Friendly

• Internal logic keeps daily and overall drawdown within many firm rules.
• Runs cleanly on swap-free ECN/Raw accounts.

Set-Up Guide

Below is a step-by-step plan for getting TOOP1 Swing MT5 running in less than 15 minutes.

1. Broker & Account

• Type: ECN/Raw Spread, swap-free
• Decimals: 2-decimal Gold price is recommended (example: 2568.89).
• Minimum Deposit: $500 (more is advised to allow smoother risk scaling).

2. Platform

• Use the latest MetaTrader 5 build from your broker.
• Check that hedging mode is enabled if supported.

3. Installation

1. Open MetaTrader 5.
2. Download & attach the EA to a Gold M5 chart.
3. Load the set file provided.

4. VPS

Because Gold can move fast, a low-latency VPS (London or New York) is highly recommended. Check ping to your broker in Tools → Options → Server.

Frequently Asked Questions TOOP1 Swing MT5

Does it trade any pair except Gold?

No. The logic is coded only for XAUUSD on M5.

Can I run it on a Cent account?

Technically yes, but spreads may be wider. Stick to ECN for best execution.

Is news filtering included?

The EA skips known quiet hours but does not read external news calendars. You may add a news filter EA on the same chart if you like.

What leverage is best?

1:100 or higher is fine because the EA opens only one position.

Can I change TP/SL?

The set file has default multipliers. Adjust if you understand how that impacts risk-to-reward.
