Introduction

Many traders want to profit from gold (XAUUSD) but can’t sit in front of the screen all day. Apex G EA, an automated trading robot for the MetaTrader 4 platform, aims to solve that problem. The expert advisor (EA) studies price action, spots chart patterns, and places orders 24 hours a day without emotional bias. In this guide, we break down how it works, what you need to run it, and points to consider before you let the EA trade real money.

What Is Apex G EA?

Apex G EA is an MT4 expert advisor built for gold trading:

• Works only on XAUUSD (also labeled as GOLD by some brokers)
• Analyses timeframes from M5 to H1
• Runs with a minimum deposit of $100 and leverage of 1:20 or higher
• Trades without martingale, grid, or averaging methods

By reading price action and pattern recognition, the EA aims to open trades with a clear stop-loss (SL) and take-profit (TP). No dangerous position sizing is used, which keeps drawdowns smaller than most high-risk robots.

Technical Requirements

• MetaTrader 4 terminal
• VPS or PC running 24/5 so the EA never misses a tick
• ECN broker account supporting gold trading
• Internet connection with low latency

Minimum specifications technically work, yet a VPS located near your broker’s server often improves execution quality.

Step-by-Step Installation Guide for Apex G EA

1. Download the EA file (ApexG.ex4).
2. Open MT4 → File → Open Data Folder.
3. Go to MQL4 → Experts and paste the file.
4. Restart MT4 or right-click Expert Advisors → Refresh.
5. Drag Apex G EA onto a chart.
6. Tick “Allow live trading” and input your preferred risk settings.
7. Click “OK” and confirm the smiley face in the chart header.

Tip: Test on a demo account first to make sure your broker symbol (GOLD or XAUUSD) matches the EA settings.

Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Apex G EA

Q1: Can I run Apex G EA on MetaTrader 5?A: The current version supports only MetaTrader 4.

Q2: What account leverage is best?A: The EA runs with 1:20 or higher. Many traders pick 1:100 for more flexibility but stick to low risk per trade.

Q4: Is a $100 deposit really enough?A: Technically yes with micro lots, but $300–$500 gives more room for the strategy to perform.
