Quick Overview of IS PI Scalper EA

Primary Keyword: IS PI Scalper EA Related Keyword example: IS PI Scalper Adaptive EA MT4

What Is IS PI Scalper EA?

IS PI Scalper EA is an automated trading system built for MetaTrader 4. It focuses on very short-term trades—“scalps”—on Gold (XAUUSD) using the one-minute chart. The Adaptive upgrade keeps the original idea of clean pending-order entries but adds a real-time filter that senses small shifts in volatility. The goal is simple:

• Precise entries
• Fast exits
• Full Stop Loss protection

Because it never opens more than one order at a time and avoids complicated recovery tactics, the Expert Advisor (EA) stays light on risk while still trying to capture intraday momentum.

Why the Adaptive Version Matters

Older scalping robots often rely on fixed ranges. When the market speeds up or slows down, they either miss trades or enter at poor prices. IS PI Scalper Adaptive EA MT4 reads the current micro-structure of Gold and changes its parameters on the fly.

Benefits of this adaptive logic:

• Handles both quiet Asian sessions and busy New-York spikes
• Less slippage, even on standard home internet
• No need for exotic VPS setups

Key Features of IS PI Scalper EA at a Glance

1. Adaptive Engine

Adjusts spread filters, entry levels, and Stop Loss distances to suit live conditions.

2. Pending-Order Method

Places buy-stop or sell-stop orders rather than instant-market orders. This typically:

• Improves fill quality
• Lowers cost on fast moves
• Keeps rejected orders to a minimum

3. No Grid, No Martingale

One position equals one risk amount. There is no adding to losing trades.

4. Full Stop Loss on Every Trade

The Stop Loss is visible in MT4 and sits directly on the server. You remain protected even if your PC shuts down.

5. Lightweight Code

Runs smoothly on any PC that can open MT4. CPU load stays below 5 % on most machines.

Installation & Setup Guide for IS PI Scalper EA

Even if you have never loaded an Expert Advisor before, the steps are simple.

1. Open MT4 ➜ File ➜ Open Data Folder
2. Copy the IS PI Scalper EA.ex4 or .mq4 file into /MQL4/Experts/
3. Copy any .set files into /MQL4/Presets/
4. Restart MT4
5. Drag IS PI Scalper EA onto an XAUUSD M1 chart
6. In “Common” tab: tick Allow live trading
7. In “Inputs” tab:
   • Load the supplied preset or adjust risk to your liking
8. Click AutoTrading so it turns green

Tip: Keep only one chart per account running the EA. Additional EAs can steal resources or interfere with pending orders.

Best Practice Settings for IS PI Scalper EA

Broker tips:

• Use a Gold-friendly broker with low commissions.
• ECN account types often give the cleanest fills.
• Standard leverage of 1:500 or 1:200 is enough—no need for higher.

Back-Test Results for IS PI Scalper EA

Back-tests are never perfect, yet they offer a first look at stability. Below is an example using Tick-data Suite, 99.9 % tick accuracy.

Observations:

• Equity dips are shallow, confirming single-trade risk.
• The EA remained active during major Gold events like COVID-19 panic and 2022 inflation spike.
• Profit factor above 2 means average winner is double the average loser.

Risk Management & Safety

Because IS PI Scalper EA never scales into losses, account risk remains transparent.

How risk is capped:

• Fixed Stop Loss—displayed and managed by MT4 server side
• One trade at a time—no overlapping exposure
• No hidden “recovery mode”—if SL hits, the loss stays recorded

Recommended risk approach:

1. Decide how much of your account you can afford to lose in a worst-case month (e.g., 10 %).
2. Divide that by an average month of trades (say 50).
3. You now have your allowed risk per trade (roughly 0.2 %).
4. Enter that figure in the EA’s RiskPercent field.

Who Should Use This EA?

• Day traders focusing on Gold volatility
• Prop-firm candidates who need controlled drawdown
• Part-time traders with only a basic PC
• Anyone avoiding martingale or grid exposure

Avoid if:

• You prefer long-term swing positions
• Your broker places wide stops on Gold
• You cannot trade XAUUSD due to regional limits

Pros & Cons

Pros

• Easy to install
• Adaptive to live volatility
• Clear Stop Loss on every trade
• No need for an expensive server
• Works on deposits from $100

Cons

• Gold only—no FX pairs
• M1 chart can be noisy; beginners might panic during spikes
• Performance relies on broker execution (though less than market-order EAs)

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can I use IS PI Scalper EA on MT5?A. The current file is built for MT4 only. A separate MT5 port is under review.

Q. Does it pass prop-firm rules?A. It meets most risk caps (1 order, Stop Loss) but always check the firm’s own lot size limits.

Q. How many charts can I run?A. One chart, one EA. The code ignores extra pairs.

Q. What about news filters?A. A simple news filter is built-in. You can block high-impact times via the NewsFilter list.

Q. Will it blow my account?A. Any EA can lose money. However, the fixed Stop Loss plus no martingale keeps risk in line with normal discretionary scalping.

Final Thoughts

IS PI Scalper EA offers a balanced way to trade Gold on the M1 timeframe without the typical dangers tied to grid or martingale systems. The adaptive engine keeps entries precise, while pending orders limit slippage. For traders who want a clear, rule-based method that fits on a home PC, this Expert Advisor is worth a trial on demo. Remember to test, size small, and track every result.
