What Is Gold Killer EA?

Gold Killer EA is an automated trading program (Expert Advisor) built for MetaTrader 5. Unlike many robots that jump from pair to pair, this EA focuses only on XAUUSD. Its single-minded design helps it read gold’s price action, spot breakouts, and manage risk with clear rules.

The full name you might see on forums is “Gold Killer EA MT5 – Professional XAUUSD Trading Solution.” That long phrase simply highlights that the tool is meant for MT5 and that it targets gold alone.

Why Gold (XAUUSD) Needs a Special Approach

• Gold moves faster than most forex pairs. A $5 move in minutes is common.
• High volatility can create big profit but also sudden drawdowns.
• Spreads and swaps are usually higher on gold, so entries must be precise.

Because of these points, many traders prefer a tailor-made system instead of a “one-size-fits-all” robot. Gold Killer EA tries to fill that gap with logic built around gold’s behaviour.

Key Features of Gold Killer EA MT5

How the Strategy Works

1. Volatility Breakout DetectionThe EA measures the Average True Range (ATR) on the M5 or M15 chart. When current range is above average and price crosses a key support or resistance level, the EA flags a breakout.
2. Trend ConfirmationA short moving-average stack checks that the breakout matches the broader move. If price breaks upward and the faster MA sits above the slower MA, that trade is valid.
3. Order Placement• Each order comes with a pre-set stop loss (SL) based on recent swing points.• Take profit (TP) is two to three times the SL distance by default.• A trailing stop kicks in after price moves half the TP distance.
4. Trade FilteringThe EA stays out during low-liquidity sessions (last hour of Friday or major holidays). It also pauses when the spread widens beyond a set value.

Risk & Money Management Explained

Gold Killer EA aims to cap risk on each trade. Here’s how:

• Fixed Percentage Risk:If you set risk to 1 %, the EA works out the lot size that risks 1 % of the account based on SL distance.
• Dynamic Trailing Stop:Once the trade is in profit, the SL trails behind price by a fixed pip distance or a fraction of ATR.
• Maximum Drawdown Guard:A built-in equity protector closes all trades if drawdown hits a level you set (default 25 %).

Because there is no martingale or grid, the account will never double down on losing positions. This keeps risk linear and predictable.
