Quick Intro

Trade Angel EA is an automated trading system built for MetaTrader 4. The robot works only on the DAX40 index and follows a clear, rule-based plan rather than hunches or “holy-grail” claims. In this detailed post you will see:

• How the EA looks under the hood
• Why the developers chose a three-timeframe structure
• Practical tips for installation, risk, and broker selection

By the end, you should know whether Trade Angel EA MT4 suits the way you trade.

What Is Trade Angel EA MT4?

Trade Angel EA MT4 is a programmed Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4. Its main focus is the DAX40, also known as:

• DE40 on some platforms
• GER40 on others

Key points:

• Written by traders with live market experience
• Works only on spot/cash CFDs, not futures
• Runs three charts in parallel—M15, M30, and H1

Unlike many one-size-fits-all robots, this EA does not try to cover EURUSD today and Gold tomorrow. It stays with a single index and digs deep into how that index moves.

Why the DAX40 (DE40/GER40) Matters

The DAX40 is Germany’s main stock index. It holds large global companies such as SAP, Siemens, and Allianz. (For a broad overview, see the Wikipedia page on DAX.)

Reasons traders like the DAX40:

1. Intraday volatility – There is usually enough movement to reach practical trade targets without waiting for days.
2. Regular news catalysts – European and German data releases can create clean trends and pullbacks.
3. Tighter spreads on spot CFD – Many brokers list spreads under 1.5 points during liquid hours.

By building Trade Angel EA around these traits, the developers avoid common problems faced by generic systems, especially those that jump from symbol to symbol looking for any volatile chart.

Core Strategy: Multi-Timeframe Logic Explained

Trade Angel EA relies on three separate charts that speak to each other through “Global Variables” inside MT4. Each chart has its own role:

How the pieces fit

1. H1 decides if the market is in an uptrend, downtrend, or a flat zone.
2. M30 checks whether recent structure matches the higher-timeframe bias.
3. M15 waits for a precise price area and momentum spike before opening a trade.

Because each layer must agree, you get fewer but more selected entries—similar to what a discretionary trader might do when looking at several screens.

First-day tips

• Run on a demo account for at least a week.
• Note CPU/RAM usage if you plan to run many other EAs.
• Record trade tickets to confirm position sizes match your risk plan.

Broker, Leverage & VPS Suggestions

Trade Angel EA MT4 does not need exotic environment tweaks, but the following points help:

Broker Type

Key criteria:

• Spot/cash DAX with long trading hours
• Low real spread + commission under 1.5 points
• Fast execution (<100 ms)

Leverage

Trade Angel EA usually risks 1–2 % per trade. Still, higher leverage (1:200–1:500) lets the EA manage margin better when multiple positions overlap.

VPS

Ping below 20 ms to broker server is ideal.Look at providers like:

• New York VPS – EU nodes for DAX
• Contabo – Budget, but check latency first

Cost range: USD 10–25 per month.

Risk Settings That Traders Commonly Use

The EA’s input menu has four numbers that matter most:

1. FixedLot OR RiskPercent• Set FixedLot = 0 and RiskPercent = 1 (means 1 % per trade).
2. MaxOpenTrades• Default is 3. Reducing to 2 makes drawdowns smoother.
3. StopLossPips & TakeProfitPips• These are relative (index points). Default SL 85, TP 120 has a 1:1.4 ratio.
4. TradingHours• Europe open (07:00–16:00 CET) gives most volume. Many users disable overnight trades.

Live Performance & Where to Track It

Transparency helps you decide if a system is hype or solid work. The developers publish real-money results on:

• Myfxbook – Look for “Trade Angel EA Live DAX40”
• fxblue – Backup link in case Myfxbook is down

Snapshot (as of last 12 months):

• Equity growth: +38 %
• Max drawdown: 11 %
• Profit factor: 1.53
• Avg trades per week: 8–12

Important: Always check the date when the account began and whether the broker matches yours.

Who Should—And Should Not—Use Trade Angel EA

Good match

• Traders who already focus on the DAX40
• People with full-time jobs looking for automated yet controlled strategies
• Users who dislike grid, martingale, or no-stop-loss styles

Possibly not a fit

• Scalpers hunting for 1-point profits
• Traders who want a single EA that runs on 20 symbols
• People uncomfortable with short-term swings of 40–80 points

If you fall in the second group, check out our article on multi-symbol EAs for MT4.

Pros, Cons & Neutral Observations

Pros

• Single instrument focus keeps optimisation simple.
• Three-timeframe logic filters many false moves.
• Clear risk inputs—no hidden martingale.
• Real-money tracking is public.

Cons

• Requires three charts per account, which can feel busy.
• Higher leverage is helpful; low-leverage brokers may limit position size.
• Best results occur during European hours, so U.S. traders might need a VPS to handle local night sessions.

Neutral

• License is annual, not lifetime; some users prefer one-off fees.
• Updates roughly every quarter—rare enough to avoid constant tweaking, but still something to install.
