Quick Snapshot

What Is Gold House EA?

Gold House EA is an automated trading system (Expert Advisor) that focuses only on gold (XAUUSD). The robot was built for the team’s own live trading account, traded for years, and opened to the public only after real-money proof matched seven years of historical testing. Instead of chasing indicator crosses or fixed hours, it studies the most basic shape of the market: when price breaks a recent swing high or swing low.

Because gold still offers sharp trends and sudden bursts of volatility, a breakout approach remains straightforward, testable, and repeatable. Put simply, if gold keeps moving, Gold House EA keeps finding opportunities.

How the Strategy Works

Swing-High / Swing-Low Breakouts

A swing high is the highest price point before a short-term pullback. A swing low is the mirror image on the bottom side. Gold House EA watches these turning points. When price pushes through the last swing top, the move suggests bullish strength; a break below the swing bottom points to bearish pressure.

Why breakouts?

• Breakouts often start larger moves.
• You trade in the direction of momentum rather than fading it.
• Entries and exits can be measured against clear structure, improving risk control.

To learn more about swing trading basics, see this Investopedia primer on swing highs and lows.

Five Independent Modules

The EA actually bundles five breakout engines. Each module tracks a slightly different structure or volatility window. All of them share the same core principle but trigger at different lengths of swing distance. You can turn any module on or off:

1. Micro Breakout – reacts to very tight ranges
2. Medium Breakout – the default setting
3. Wide Breakout – waits for broader structure
4. Session Breakout – filters by London / New York overlap
5. Momentum Confirmed Breakout – only trades if ATR is above average

Running them together gives round-the-clock coverage without flooding the account with trades. If you prefer low frequency, disable Micro and Session logic and keep the Wide breaker on its own.

Adaptive Risk Control Explained

Gold prices have climbed from about $1,200 to over $2,000 in recent years. A fixed 100-point stop that made sense five years ago may now be too close. Gold House EA avoids this problem by scaling every risk parameter against current price. For example:

• Stop-loss size = 0.3 % of current price
• Take-profit size = 0.6 % of current price
• Trailing start = 0.4 % of current price

If gold trades at $1,500, a 0.3 % stop = 4.5 dollars, or 450 points on MT4/MT5 quotes.If gold moves to $2,200, the same 0.3 % stop widens to 6.6 dollars, or 660 points.

This way, position risk stays proportional no matter how high gold climbs. You set it once; the EA updates the math on every tick.

Partial close:When price moves half way to the full target, Gold House EA can close 50 % of the lot size and trail the remainder. The partial exit reduces risk further while giving the trade room to run.
