Quick Overview

Global Trade Plan EA MT5 is an automated trading system (Expert Advisor) built for MetaTrader 5 and tuned for XAUUSD (Gold) breakout scalping. The robot looks for short-term price bursts, places trades with a fixed Stop Loss and Take Profit, and then applies trailing stop or breakeven rules if the market keeps moving in your favor.

Key points:

Why Focus on XAUUSD?

Gold has a habit of jumping quickly when market sentiment shifts. For day traders this volatility is good news—if you have a tool that can react fast enough. Global Trade Plan EA MT5 was coded to read volatility changes on Gold and trigger trades only when the break looks strong enough to justify the risk.

Advantages of trading Gold with an EA

• Consistent trading hours 23/5
• High liquidity during both London and New York sessions
• Responsive to geopolitical and economic news (creates breakout opportunities)
• Often lower cost per tick compared with many exotic Forex pairs

How Global Trade Plan EA MT5 Works

1. Volatility Detection

The EA checks recent tick data and candle ranges to measure how “hot” the market is. When volatility breaches a preset threshold, the robot gets ready for a breakout setup.

2. Breakout Confirmation

A breakout zone is mapped above recent highs or below recent lows. If price hits this zone with enough strength and the spread is still within limits, a market order or a virtual pending order is executed.

3. Trade Management

• Fixed Stop Loss is placed instantly.
• Fixed Take Profit is set at a logical distance (configurable).
• Trailing Stop starts only after price moves a certain number of points in profit.
• Breakeven option can shift SL to entry once the trade is “safe.”

4. Exit & Review

If the trailing stop gets hit, or the Take Profit is reached, the EA closes the trade and logs the outcome. You can review all trades in the MetaTrader 5 “Experts” and “Journal” tabs.

Installation & Initial Set-Up for Global Trade Plan EA

1. Download the EA file (.ex5) from Onshoppie.com.
2. Open MetaTrader 5 → File → Open Data Folder.
3. Navigate to MQL5/Experts and copy the EA file there.
4. Restart MetaTrader 5 or right-click in Navigator → Refresh.
5. Drag Global Trade Plan EA MT5 onto an XAUUSD H1 chart.
6. Tick “Allow algorithmic trading” in the Common tab.
7. Press OK and watch for the smiley face in the top-right corner of the chart.

Tip: Keep only one instance of the EA per MT5 terminal to avoid duplicate trades.

Choosing a Broker, VPS & Other Tools

• Broker Type: ECN or RAW spread broker with a typical Gold spread < 15 points.
• Leverage: 1:100 or higher is common, but always match your risk tolerance.
• Execution: “Market Execution” accounts are fine, but look for average slippage under 30 ms.
• Stop Level: 0 (or as small as possible) so the EA can place tight stops.
• VPS: Latency under 4 ms to your broker’s server. Services like Amazon AWS (Frankfurt/London) or MQL5 VPS are popular choices.
• Server Time: Check that server time zone matches the EA’s news filter settings (usually GMT +0/+2).

Final Thoughts & Next Steps for Global Trade Plan EA

Global Trade Plan EA MT5 brings Gold breakout scalping to MetaTrader 5 in a clear, rules-based package—no Martingale, no Grid, just fixed risk and disciplined exits. It scans XAUUSD for rapid price bursts, jumps in when conditions align, and steps aside when spreads widen or major news hits the tape.

If you are searching for an automated approach to Gold trading that stays away from extreme lot multipliers, this EA is worth a closer look. As always, back-test thoroughly, forward-test patiently, and size positions conservatively.
